Our Team

Jessica founded Telescope in 2022. Before working in tech Jessica taught English in South Korea for 2 years, where the homogeneity and 40% gender pay gap made discrimination obvious, and pushed her to think more critically about discrimination in America. From 2017-2018 she helped build a database for a recruiting agency, and from 2018-2021 she worked internally for various NY startups, specializing in top of funnel operations.

Jessica is a 3rd generation business owner and the first female business owner in her family tree.

Telescope is otherwise operated by a pool of 20 freelancers who all work on flexible schedules and play specialized roles as: sourcers, data entry specialists, content writers, and business developers. Most but not all of these freelancers are women working in countries with low rates of female employment.
